Healing Waters

Undoubtedly, the main attraction of Sárvár is its two types of healing waters, which have laid the foundation for the development seen today. In the vicinity of Sárvár, water erupts from a depth of 1200 meters at a temperature of 43°C, and high-salt content water erupts from a depth of 2000 meters at 83°C.

The high-salt content water contains essential components such as sodium chloride, hydrogen carbonate, iodine, bromine, fluorine, and numerous trace elements. The famous Sárvár Thermal Crystal is produced by distillation of the salty bath water. Salt baths are effective for certain musculoskeletal, gynecological, and dermatological conditions. The healing water has been known for decades for its favorable effects on chronic lower abdominal pain and chronic gynecological inflammatory diseases with adhesions.
